This together with cutting edge materials ensure that the Bipolar Head is of the highest quality available in order to benefit the patient. A variety of sizes are available to suit the individual patient’s acetabular anatomy.

INDICATIONS:

• Neck of femur Fractures in the elderly and debilitated/ infirm
• Acetabular deficiencies that do not permit secure fixation of acetabular component
• Abductor deficiencies that require more stability than a fixed component can offer

PLEASE NOTE:

Surgeons using the bipolar hip system must be knowledgable in the medical and surgical aspects of the implant, as well as the limitations of the metallurgical and mechanical properties of the implants. Correct selection of the implant components is critical to the success of the procedure.
